My Therapeutic Style
I strive to create meaningful change by providing tangible easy to use tools to manage those everyday stressors that are creating obstacles to reaching your full potential. I fully believe that meaningful change happens when you are able to manage difficult feelings without them disrupting your life and relationships. It is my goal to collaborate with you to create a therapeutic environment that leads to this shift.
The tools I provide are grounded in research and presented to you in a manner that is easy to understand and quickly put to use. I use cognitive behavioral strategies along with psychodynamic techniques which take your past and present experiences into consideration to help you manage your struggles.
As we work together, safety and comfort is my goal. You will find that my approach is direct but light hearted. My objective is that you leave each session with insight about yourself that can lead to positive change in your life. Together, we will track your progress in order to shift or maintain the scope of the therapy that is needed to create the change you are looking for.
